We proudly announce the registration phase for the upcoming Art Spin Berlin 2016 tour on Friday, August 5, 2016! We are currently working hard to put a great tour together and hope you can join us for an evening of art, bikes and sunshine. All the information you need, you will find in this article.
Given the large number of people attending Art Spin Berlin and at the request of the authorities, we have to be able to estimate the number of people attending the tour. It is also a way for us to ask you for a small contribution to this year’s tour. This worked really well last year, and as we are a donation based event, your contribution will help to sustain it. There is no set fee to join Art Spin Berlin, but please keep in mind that your donations help us pay for our production costs and fees for our deserving artists!REGISTER HERE
All registered people will receive a button and booklet at the start of the tour. The booklet contains all information about the tour stops and artists, and your button is your badge! Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
What will the tour be like this year?
In both 2014 and 2015 we saw over 350 cyclists enjoying an unforgettable summer evening of art and cycling. We will continue with those values and have chosen to tour through the suburbs of Wedding and Moabit for our 2016 tour. Our starting point will be Invalidenpark close to Hauptbahnhof. We have a few things planned at the first stop, so come early – we start of at 6 pm (18:00) and will begin our ride at 7 pm (19:00). Over the next days we will feature more details of the tour, artists and locations on our Facebook page and an upcoming blog post. For now here is a list of this year’s participating artists:
Andyvazul, Simone Dede Ayivi, Pere Ferrera Bertran, hannsjana, Lisa Hoffmann, Kaffe Matthews, Nathalie Mba Bikoro, Zwoisy Mears-Clarke, Ben Mohai, ON/OFF, Yun Ju Park, Majorie Potiron, Lena Skrabs, Natsumi Sugiyama, Sasa Tatic, Claire Waffel, Daphna Westerman
We hope to see you on Art Spin Berlin 2016 this year – and don’t forget to register with us!
