We proudly announce the registration phase and a few other details of the upcoming Art Spin Berlin tour on Saturday, July 14, 2018! Join us as we cycle 11 km on a beautiful summer evening, experiencing 8 artistic projects at 6 locations throughout the neighborhoods of Alt-Pankow, Niederschönhausen, Heinersdorf and Weißensee.

REGISTRATION

Given the large number of people attending Art Spin Berlin and at the request of the authorities, we have to be able to estimate the number of people attending the tour. Our registration also gives you the opportunity to make a contribution to this year’s tour. As we are a donation based event, your contributions are highly appreciated and help to sustain Art Spin Berlin.
We think 8,50 € is a fair price for what you experience at our event, however there is no set fee to join Art Spin Berlin. Please keep in mind that your donations help us pay for our production costs and fees for our deserving artists!

All registered people will receive an wrist band and booklet at the start of the tour. The booklet contains all information about the tour stops and artists.

ART SPIN BERLIN 2018

This year our meeting point will be under the Bösebrücke at Norwegerstr., close to the former Bolnholmer Str. border crossing, one of the border crossings between East and West Berlin between 1961 and 1990. We’ve added a few maps of how to reach our starting point from the Wedding, Mitte and Pankow, and remember, you can also take the stairs down from on top of the bridge.

At our meeting point we have an engaging participatory project by ON/OFF and music by Klarageist, so come early – we kick things off at 5 pm (17:00) and will begin our ride promptly at 6 pm (18:00).

While we like to keep our tours a bit mysterious, you can expect a range of moods and topics on our tour this year, from a dystopic contemporary dance performance in a church ruin to vegetables and animals training for their sport badges at a local sport stadium. We end the tour at KuBiZ Cultural and Education Center with drinks, food and live music.

NO BIKE? NO PROBLEM!

If you need a bike, our friends at Berlin on Bike are offering free bikes for the tour! Simply head over there an hour or so before the event with 50 € cash and an ID for a deposit and get your wheels.

From there, join mitRADgelegenheit‘s group ride leaving to our meeting point shortly before 5pm. And if an escort isn’t perfect enough,  Klarageist, our en-route DJ and sound provider will be cruising with you too – a great opportunity to warm up for the ride and have a more intimate experience with the world’s most amazing sound bike before we become a group of over 300 cyclists!
